Over 60 Years of Service since 1946

Over 60 years in the life of any organization is cause for celebration and in many ways this Web-site is actually part of that celebration.

We are also very thankful to Almighty God for all that He has given to us over the years and for helping us to survive through the many difficult times all organizations inevitably are tested with.

NLBA Interisland Architects has witnessed three full generations of the profession pass through its ranks. This firm has been the principal training ground for numerous young West Indian architects. Many of them now have their own practices. John Newel Lewis was a particularly good teacher and there are many who will remember him for his artistic and analytic skills. His prolific work remains on display on our walls in continuous testimony to him, his wit, his energy, his influence and his art. Bernard Broadbridge is perhaps more remembered for his meticulous knowledge of good professional practice and his humanitarian concerns. An exemplar nevertheless for the entire profession, he has left us with a legacy of making oneself available for service to all.

The Directors are fully dedicated to promoting and developing the highest ideals of the Profession as has been the tradition of the firm over the years. This ensures a commitment to providing the best available standards of service to our Clients and to Society as a whole with the resulting celebration of an Architecture understood and appreciated by many.

Under the leadership of the Directors and their network team of specialists our Firm is well poised and able to address any of our urban, architectural, interior design and project management needs.

The future will be an interesting one. Already we are witnessing the increasingly rapid transformations taking place in today's world and in our society. It is vital therefore that we be fully prepared to meet the design and developmental challenges arising out of needs, concerns, and situations that are constantly evolving from our emerging new world.

To our many Clients and Friends who have shown and retained confidence in us over the years, we say a sincere thank you and we continue to pledge our best efforts in the interest of all who we collaborate with.

NLBA Interisland Architects is not just an architectural practice responding to the requests and demands of a clientele. We are an ideas think tank seeking to bring development ideas to combine with capital, management and industry for the fulfillment of a better Civilization here in the Caribbean.

We seek to place broader meaning to the word Architect.
